Linda Lou Barthalow, 68, formerly of Lebanon, passed away at Morristown Manor on Thursday morning, April 9, 2020. Born July 24, 1951 in McConnellsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Luther Earl Barthalow, Sr. and Thelma (Lewis) Barthalow.
Linda grew up in Boone County and attended Granville Wells Schools. She worked as a line tester for wiring harnesses with Kauffman Engineering in Lebanon for many years, and served as a QMA, Nursing Assistant, and Medicine Aide for Hoosier Village for over 10 years.
Linda loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed playing games. She never missed an opportunity to combine the two, usually during a competitive round of Bingo or Dominoes. Working her way through one of her word find books was another favorite way to spend an afternoon.
Linda is survived by her two brothers, Harry E. Barthalow (Matilda), Greenfield, and Luther E. Barthalow, Jr., Lebanon; sister, Marie Marburger, Brownsburg; sister-in-law, Connie Barthalow, Indianapolis; and her niece, Tina Pennington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Alvin and Calvin Barthalow; and by her best friend and companion of 32 years, Jean Fausset, in 2007.
Through the recommendation of our public health officials with regards to public health and safety, private family services will be held at this time.
Linda will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Kirklin. Pastor George Cooper will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the Dementia Society of America.
