Mark Andrew Tolley, 60, Sheridan, recently lost his battle to pancreatic cancer. Mark was born on January 13, 1960 in Frankfort, Ind., to Nancy Miller of Sheridan and Jon Tolley of Lafayette.
Mark graduated from Sheridan High School Class of 1978. Mark proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps following graduation where he was enlisted from 1978 to 1985. Mark was a car enthusiast, outdoorsman and loved the challenge of creating and restoring works of art for loved ones. He retired in 2020 from Subaru after working 25 years. Mark looked forward to his time grilling, gathering with friends, family and entertaining his two grandchildren.
Mark is survived by his wife of over 37 years, Laura (Marlow) Tolley; their two children, Brandy (Matt) Simpson and Jacob (Shea) Tolley; and grandchildren, Harper and Rowan Simpson; his mother, Nancy S. Miller, Sheridan; his father Jon (Anne) Tolley, Lafayette; his two brothers, Tim (Karen) Tolley, Urbana, Ill., and Matt (Debby) Tolley, Sheridan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Mark is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jennifer Wallace, and stepfather, Jack Miller.
A memorial service for Mark will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church, 207 E. 2nd St., Sheridan, where family and friends are invited to gather from 9 a.m. till time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation at npcf.us. Fisher Family Funeral Services is honored to serve the Tolley Family.
