Westfield Washington Schools online kindergarten registration opens at 9 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 3.
Any child who lives in Westfield and is five years of age on or before Aug. 1 may enroll in kindergarten. Your child’s application cannot be completed without appropriate documentation.
Documents needed for registration include:
- Driver’s license
- Original birth certificate
- Adoption papers (if applicable)
- Custody papers (if applicable)
- Immunization records
- Proof of residency (lease/purchase agreement, filed IRS form, change of address from PO, utility bill, and/or voter registration)
- Current case conference report and IEP (if applicable)
- Current Psycho-Educational Evaluation (if applicable)
The six Westfield elementary schools also have information posted on their websites under the Parent tab. Just click on “Future Kindergarten Registration.”
If you’d prefer to register in person, you can visit any WWS elementary building from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from March 16 to 20. Please bring all the required documents as outlined in the above.
Westfield Washington Schools is also offering translating services for Spanish-speaking families from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17. Translators will be onhand to assist parents.
