Huskies win third straight game

Hamilton Heights won its third straight game on Tuesday, beating New Castle 66-50 at the Trojans’ famed gymnasium.
The Huskies outscored New Castle in each quarter, leading 15-10 after the first period and 31-17 at halftime. Heights was led by an outstanding performance by Jillian Osswald, who earned a double-double of 18 points and 11 assists. Osswald also made six steals and pulled two rebounds.
Payton Dissett added 15 points, making three 3-pointers. MyKayla Moran added 10 points and led the rebounds with seven. Bayleigh Runner had six rebounds, four assists and four steals, with Sydney Runyan collecting five rebounds.
The Huskies are 12-10 for the season. Heights will host Rensselaer Central at 8 p.m. Friday in the third-place game of the Hoosier Conference playoffs.
