National Night Out is a designated evening when communities across America come together to take a stand against crime. This year, Tuesday, Aug. 1 is National Night Out (NNO) and the Carmel Police Department will again be partnering with members of the community to affirm our conviction against crime and disorder. This year’s event is scheduled to take place at the Carmel Gazebo from 6 to 8 p.m.
Carmel police and fire personnel will be on hand to talk about safety and answer questions. We are also planning to have free hot dogs, pizzas, drinks, music, kids’ games, face painting, etc. for adults and children to enjoy.
