Hamilton Heights fought back to overtime at Danville on Saturday before falling to the Warriors 54-51.
The Huskies trailed 29-22 at halftime, but outscored Danville 16-10 in the third quarter to pull within one point. Heights got that point back in the fourth period, which ended at 49-49, but the Warriors outscored the Huskies 5-2 in the extra period.
Jillian Osswald led in scoring with 20 points; coach Keegan Cherry said she was “spectacular” in the game. MyKayla Moran also had a great game, scoring 12 points and leading the rebounds with eight. Osswald pulled five rebounds. Bayleigh Runner added 11 points and five rebounds.
Heights is 0-2 and will host Noblesville on Friday.
