The Hamilton County Humane Society has kicked off its capital campaign to raise an estimated $12 million to build a new facility in the Fishers area near 106th Street and Hague Road. The organization announced it has already raised nearly 80 percent of its goal, which included $3.5 million in funding approved by the Hamilton County Council. The Humane Society has occupied its current facility, located in Noblesville, since 2006 and construction on the new facility is expected to be complete in 2021.
