Church Church Hittle + Antrim (CCHA) partner Leslie Craig Henderzahs is now serving as President of the Indiana State Bar Association. She was inducted at this week’s ISBA annual meeting. She will lead ISBA’s almost 10,000 attorneys.
At CCHA, Henderzahs focuses her practice in civil litigation and is a Certified Family Law Specialist as certified by the Family Law Certification Board. She was also recently appointed to Indiana’s Family Law Taskforce.
“Leslie is a trailblazer and leads by example. Leslie has an incredible career, filled with remarkable cases and clients, and yet, her door is always open to others,” said Managing Partner David Day. “Leslie will be a great asset for ISBA. As President, Leslie will maintain a watchful eye on trends and challenges in the legal industry, which will also allow her to continue to be a strong negotiator and advocate for her clients.”
Henderzahs is ISBA’s fifth female president. As CCHA’s first female partner, she has been instrumental in developing younger CCHA attorneys, and is proud that nearly half of CCHA’s attorneys are women. As ISBA President, Henderzahs says she looks forward to leading a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, which prohibited the states and federal government from denying women the right to vote.
Henderzahs completed her undergraduate degree at Indiana University, Bloomington and received her Juris Doctorate from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1990. She is a graduate of New Albany High School. She is married to E. Allen Henderzahs, who is a teacher and coach at Mt. Vernon School Corporation. They have three daughters: Shelby, who is married to Cory Weicht, Caroline and Madelyn. Click here to read more about Leslie Craig Henderzahs on the CCHA website.
