The City of Noblesville has approved an inter-local agreement with Hamilton County to provide funding to the county for the local Youth Assistance Program.
City Attorney Mike Howard explained to councilmembers the funds would be used to pay the cost of caseworkers.
According to Howard, Noblesville will pay the county $65,000. “At $65,000 we are lower than the other three municipalities and have at least equal to or maybe greater demands from our community,” he said.
The resolution for the inter-local agreement was unanimously approved by the council.
