Sheridan Horseshoe League hosts second inter-league tournament of the season

The Sheridan Horseshoe League conducted its second inter-league tournament of the year this week.
The league voted on having two inter-league tournaments, one in the beginning of the year and the other in the middle of the year to separate the first half of the season from the second half.
Brad McKinney took first place as he was pitching hot right out of the gate. Close behind him was Mike McKinney, who easily had one of his best games all season in his final game of the night. Greg Emery also started hot, but dropped to third at the end of the night. Tamela McKinney had herself a great night as well, finishing sixth, and had the best game of her season, pitching a 43.
Overall it was a great night, with some great starts and some great finishes.
This weekend the league will host another open tournament, starting at 9 a.m. this Saturday, sponsored by Ashpaugh Electric. Ashpaugh has also donated some extra money into the pot for the winners. Come on out this Saturday to enjoy some horseshoes, and hopefully win some money just having some fun.

Actual scores: Greg Emery 219, Brad McKinney 187, Mike McKinney 161.
Handicap scores: Brad McKinney 382, Mike Mc- Kinney 377. Greg Emery 372.
