Fishers Unified Track team qualifies for state finals

The Fishers Unified Track and Field team advance to the state finals after finishing third at the Kokomo regional on Saturday.
This marks the third time the Tigers have qualified for state in Unified Track and the second consecutive year. Elkhart Memorial won the meet with 124 points, followed by Valparaiso with 118 and Fishers with 99. The top six teams advance to state.
Samuel Syrus placed second in the 100 dash and 400 dash, while Joshua Ibey finished second in the shot put.
