Thursday’s thunderstorms forced all athletic events in Hamilton County to be postponed or canceled. The following events were to take place on Thursday, but have been re-scheduled to new times:
The girls tennis sectional championships will be played at 4:30 p.m. today. Carmel will host Guerin Catholic at the Todd Witsken Tennis Center, while Hamilton Southeastern takes on Fishers at the Noblesville East Middle School courts.
The boys track and field sectional meet will take place today at Carmel, with a start time of 6 p.m.
The Hamilton Southeastern baseball team will play at Franklin Central today at 6 p.m., as scheduled. The Royals will host the Flashes on Saturday, with a time to be determined this morning.
Noblesville’s baseball game with Zionsville is set for 8:30 p.m. tonight at the Eagles’ field, following Zionsville’s 6 p.m. game with Martinsville.
Fishers will play a doubleheader at Brownsburg, starting at 6 p.m. tonight.
The Noblesville softball team will host North Central tonight, with the game starting at 6 p.m.
The Hamilton County golf meet was postponed. Coaches are working on establishing a make-up date.
