The City of Noblesville has hired TreeO to remove unnecessary brush around a portion of Riverside Cemetery.

Tree clearing at the city-owned cemetery begins today and will run through Wednesday, May 22. Tree clearing is needed as the city continues to replace the old, chain link fence with black decorative fencing.

“This is the last part to get the new fencing in the southwest and southern portions of the cemetery,” said Noblesville Clerk Evelyn Lees, who oversees the maintenance of Riverside Cemetery. “Trees will be saved where possible. The ones being removed are mainly overgrowth.”

Landscaping will be put in after the fence has been installed.
