The fire was first noticed by a neighbor who saw smoke and flames coming from the rear of the home and called 9-1-1.The first units on scene encountered a fully involved mobile home with flames threatening the neighboring home.

Units were able to bring the blaze under control, limiting the damage to the neighboring residence.

There were no deaths or injuries to civilians or firefighters; however, two pets succumbed to the heavy smoke and high heat conditions.

The Noblesville Fire Department was assisted by the Noblesville Police Department. The NFD would like to take this opportunity to remind residents to ensure their smoke detectors are functioning properly.
