Fast start sends ‘Hounds past Warsaw

Carmel took care of Warsaw 54-35 Saturday night at the Eric Clark Activity Center.
The Class 4A No. 2 Greyhounds took care of business early, leading 15-5 after the first quarter and 34-12 at halftime. John Michael Mulloy reached double-double status with 15 points and 10 rebounds; he also blocked two shots.
Andrew Owens led all scorers with 17 points, that included five 3-pointers. Karsten Windlan scored 10 points and made five steals.
Carmel is 19-1 and hosts Bishop Dwenger at 6:30 p.m. Friday for its regular season finale.
