Huskies girls beat Western, will take on Tipton Saturday

Hamilton Heights went on the road to Western Tuesday, and came back with a 57-37 Hoosier Conference victory.
The Huskies led 15-7 after the first quarter, but the Panthers cut that lead to 27-23 by halftime. Heights took control in the second half, where it outscored Western 30-14.
Bayleigh Runner had a sensational game, scoring 24 points, pulling six rebounds and making four steals. Jillian Osswald added 13 points, while Lauryn Wiley scored 10. The Huskies had 12 team assists, with Runner dishing out three.
Heights is 2-1 in Hoosier Conference East division play, currently tied with Tipton for second place. The Huskies will travel to the Blue Devils’ gym on Saturday for an afternoon game. Heights is 8-9 overall.
