Wendy Louise Hudson, 44, Fishers, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at her home. She was born on November 12, 1973 in Kankakee, Ill.
Wendy grew up in Beecher, Ill., as a child and moved to Westfield where she attended Westfield Junior High and High School. Later she resided in Fishers and graduated from IUPUI with a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University.
Wendy loved her friends and kept them close to her and close to her heart, many life-long. She enjoyed spending her free time with her friends from all aspects of her life, work, fun, school and neighbors; celebrating life’s milestones with each of them. If you were out and about with Wendy, you were bound to meet many others she knew. She was an avid Norte Dame football and Chicago Bears fan. Her love of sports didn’t stop there. Wendy could be found out for Cubs games, college basketball tourney time, and at IMS during the month of May. When she had the chance, she attended games and events with her friends.
Wendy was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lou Hudson (Hill); brother, Christopher Hudson; and niece, Emma Burnell.
She is survived by her father, David A. Hudson; sister, Stephanie Burnell (Hudson); two nephews and one niece, Reed, Sam and Libby Burnell; loving uncles, aunts, cousins; and phenomenal friends Wendy considered her family.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers.
