Denny Woelfel, 83, Carmel, passed away October 18, 2018. He was born October 15, 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the second oldest of five children, to Joseph and Catherine Rammacher Woelfel.
Denny worked for Burlington Industries and before retiring at age 53, he worked for Aris Isotoner. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School and Marian College.
Following retirement, Denny was able to devote full time to the Lord through volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry as well as involvement with the pro-life movement.
In addition to his parents, Denny is preceded in death by his brother Robert T.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Margaret Ann; children, Mike (Laura), Denise (Doug) and Cathy (Jon); grandchildren, Mitch, Charlie, Sarah, Annabelle, Matthew, Matt, Teddy, Carly, Izzy and Margaret; brothers, Joe (Marcia), Jack (Carol Ann); and sister, Lynne (Mike).
Family and friends will gathered on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, where the Mass of Christian Burial followed.
