Jack Badger, longtime Carmel community activist, died early Tuesday at Carmel Care Center.
Badger, 81, was a native of South Bend, but lived in Carmel more than 40 years and was involved in many school, church and community activities.
Known for his volunteer work, he was a dedicated supporter of the Carmel Dad’s Club, the Carmel United Methodist Church, Rotary Club and the Republican Party.
He is survived by his wife, Ila, and two daughters. Two sons are deceased. Funeral services will be conducted next week at the Methodist Church.
