The Noblesville Fire Department says they responded to a building fire in the 1700 block of Willowview Road at around 8 pm Monday night.
Firefighters who first arrived on the scene said they encountered a large barn fully engulfed in flames, so they deployed large volumes of water to control the blaze and limit damage to the structure where the fire originated. No one was inside the building at the time, and no injuries to civilians, firefighters, or animals were reported.
The Noblesville Police Department and the City of Noblesville Street Department assisted emergency crews at the scene. Street Department personnel used equipment to remove debris, allowing fire investigators to safely access the area to determine the cause and origin of the blaze.
Authorities stated the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
