Westfield Washington Schools’ ILEARN results rank among Indiana’s top districts

ILEARN results are in, and Westfield Washington Schools (WWS) students continue to demonstrate strong academic achievement, with proficiency rates well above Indiana averages across each reported subject area.

WWS proficiency rates compared with statewide results include:

• Social Studies: 71.9 percent proficient, compared with 47.2 percent statewide
• Math: 65.2 percent, compared with 42.7 percent statewide
• Science: 64.9 percent, compared with 42.4 percent statewide
• English Language Arts: 61.2 percent, compared with 42 percent statewide
• English Language Arts & Math: 52.1 percent, compared with 31.5 percent statewide

WWS also ranks among Indiana’s top school districts. In every area, Shamrocks were in the top 6 percent out of 393 school districts reporting statewide:

• Science: No. 8
• Math: No. 15
• English Language Arts and Math: No. 16
• Social Studies: No. 16
• English Language Arts: No. 23

When ILEARN results are filtered to show only the 294 traditional public schools, WWS ranks:

• 19 in Indiana for English Language Arts
• 13 in Math
• 14 in English Language Arts and Math
• 5 in Science
• 11 in Social Studies
