Wild, Wild Westfield’s Premier Chili Cook-Off and Fall Fest returns Saturday, Sept. 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. This free event is for all people and families who want to enjoy a fun and relaxing afternoon of games, food, and music.
Enjoy face-painting, inflatables, pony rides, food, kids’ games, adult fun, petting zoo, silent auction, bounce houses, live music, and more. And of course, what would Wild, Wild Westfield be without Manny the Mechanical Bull? Find more information at crchurch.org/fall-fest-chili-cook-off.

Once you have registered, bring a crock pot of chili to CrossRoads by 4:15 p.m. Sept. 26. Local judges will determine the winners. Cash prizes will be awarded for each of four categories: [1] Beef Chili, [2] Poultry Chili, [3] Vegetarian Chili, and [4] Other Meats Chili. A Grand Prize Winner will be awarded.
The event is being held at 19201 Grassy Branch Road on the CrossRoads Church at Westfield’s campus.
This big event is part of CrossRoads Church at Westfield’s four-part strategic plan to meet, enjoy, know, and serve our local neighbors. They invite others to serve with them!
“We provide three big events per year, our fun Fall Festival and Premier Chili Cook-Off and two family-friendly comedy events,” Lead Pastor Eric Lohe said. “The 11th annual free ‘Pizza and Punchlines’ will take place February 2027. We are bringing in three nationally-known comedians for a night of fun. Our popular ‘Popcorn and Punchlines’ will be held May 2027.”
In July 2027, CrossRoads Church will provide free home repairs for 45 Hamilton County senior adults and veterans. The church provides mobile home skirting, decks, ramps, and interior and exterior painting. Applications are available at crchurch.org/home-repairs.
“We work on needs that are not being addressed currently in the community,” Lohe said. “On the first Saturday of each month, 9 to 11 a.m., we provide free pet food so some of the resources people are using to pay for their pets can be used for their families.”
CrossRoads is the distribution point of Kids’ Coats in Westfield on Oct. 31, 2026. CrossRoads Church also provides free Zumba at the church each Tuesday at 7 p.m. and Saturday morning at 8 a.m. for folks to get exercise. There is also a Celebrate Recovery program every Thursday night beginning at 6:15 p.m. for anyone struggling. The church will serve as a collection point for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes from Nov. 16 to 22, 2026.
