Prost! Graeter’s Ice Cream, America’s oldest family-owned and operated craft ice cream maker, is raising a pint (of ice cream!) in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Oktoberfest Zinzinnati, the world’s largest Oktoberfest celebration outside of Munich.
Inspired by the traditional Southern Bavarian dessert, Graeter’s Apple Strudel Ice Cream features cinnamon ice cream loaded with baked apples, sweet icing, and cinnamon pastry pieces. The limited-edition flavor was created in partnership with the Cincinnati Regional Chamber, tying Graeter’s Cincinnati roots to one of the city’s biggest annual events.
Oktoberfest Zinzinnati draws hundreds of thousands of visitors to Cincinnati’s downtown riverfront for four days of German food, music, beer, and festivities. In honor of the event’s 50th anniversary, Graeter’s ice cream food truck will be on site at Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove throughout the festival, serving up scoops of Apple Strudel and other fan-favorite Graeter’s flavors, from Sept. 17 to 20.
This seasonal flavor will be available by the scoop and in pints at all local Graeter’s scoop shops. Pints will also be available for local delivery through order.graeters.com, as well as online for nationwide shipping at Graeters.com.
