Kroger invites job hunters to learn what thousands of people already know – Kroger is a great place to work!
Back-to-School season inspired the grocer to create special hiring events at every Kroger store in the area. That means hundreds of positions are available for numerous roles as Kroger prepares for all activities that bring shoppers to stores during the second half of the year.
“We offer full- and part-time jobs with excellent, long-term career potential,” Central Division President Mike Goodwin said. “We’re looking for candidates who can help us provide fresh food, friendly service and an amazing customer experience at every store. We want everyone to know they are appreciated and valued at Kroger.”
Goodwin encourages potential associates to meet with store leaders at any local Kroger from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 25.
Kroger is traditionally praised as “an employer of choice,” where people discover more than a job. They find careers with attractive wages and benefits:
- Top-tier health and retirement benefits: In addition to competitive wages, Kroger provides comprehensive compensation packages featuring healthcare and retirement benefits.
- Continuing Education & Tuition Reimbursement: Kroger’s tuition reimbursement program, offering up to $21,000 for both part-time and full-time associates, covers a GED to PhD.
- Endless opportunities to learn and advance: Innovative technologies deliver on-demand, role-specific training and resources, and leadership development.
- Associate discounts: Save hundreds of dollars annually on groceries, electronics, entertainment streaming services, travel, and more.
“Since everyone has a different idea about creating a career, Kroger offers a welcoming and inclusive environment and provides the tools our associates need to design their own path to success,” Goodwin said. “Come for a job and stay for a career, as we like to say. We have fresh opportunities for everyone.”
