Noblesville Cultural Arts Commission announces two free July events

The Noblesville Cultural Arts Commission (NCAC) invites the community to enjoy two outstanding free arts events this month, featuring an evening of live concert music and a classic silent film with live accompaniment.

The month begins at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, July 12 with a performance by the Indianapolis Municipal Band at Federal Hill Commons, 175 Logan St. One of Indiana’s premier concert bands, the Indianapolis Municipal Band has entertained audiences for generations with a repertoire that includes patriotic favorites, Broadway classics, marches, movie music, and popular selections. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening of music in one of Noblesville’s premier outdoor venues.

The celebration of the arts continues at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 18 with the NCAC’s Vintage Film Series at Logan Street Theater, 1274 Logan St. This month’s feature is Spies (1928), the acclaimed suspense thriller directed by legendary filmmaker Fritz Lang. The silent film will be presented with live piano accompaniment, offering audiences an authentic classic cinema experience.

Both events are free and open to the public as part of the Noblesville Cultural Arts Commission’s ongoing commitment to providing accessible arts programming for the community.
