Noblesville Professional Fire Fighters Local 4416 and the Noblesville Fire Department held the 14th annual Awards and Recognition Banquet last Friday, June 12 at the Riverview Health Arena at Innovation Mile.
The event recognized the dedication and bravery of Noblesville’s fire fighters and paramedics, their exceptional service to the community, and their outstanding performance on the job.
This year’s award recipients include:
- Fire Fighter of the Year: FF/EMT John Sage
- Officer of the Year: Executive Officer Spencer Morris
- EMS Provider of the Year: FF/Paramedic Jonathan Rawlings
- The Chief Kenneth L. Gilliam Leadership Award: Deputy Chief Murry Dixon
- Excellence in Training: FF/Paramedic Joe Bertka
- Meritorious Service: FF/EMT Kyle Vergon
- Letters of Commendation: Captain Colin Fogarty, Lieutenant Eric Harris, EMS Duty Officer Josh Gates, Engineer Jack Swift, Engineer Ben Asbury, FF/EMT Zack Flowers, FF/EMT Cort Christy, FF/PM Chris Poynter, FF/EMT Logan Kinsey.
Thank you to Mayor Chris Jensen, Deputy Mayor Matt Light, Councilman Dave Johnson, Noblesville Firefighter Merit Commission member Sarah Russell Goddard, Noblesville Police Chief Brad Arnold, Professional Fire Fighters Union of Indiana President Tony Murray, and other esteemed guests who were in attendance for the event.
