Nyla Gisele Young of Noblesville won the girls title at the second annual Indiana High School Hammer Association State Championships, contested last Sunday, June 7 at Marian University in Indianapolis. Young’s winning throw – 148 feet, 6 inches – also established a new meet record. Young placed fifth at last year’s inaugural event.
