Ramp and lane restrictions are scheduled overnight this week in northeast Indianapolis. Crews are shifting traffic to the new ramp from eastbound Interstate 465 to northbound I-69. The new ramp is expected to open Saturday, May 30.
Before the new ramp opens, crews will shift traffic Thursday night on northbound Binford Boulevard near 75th Street. On Friday night, crews will temporarily close several ramps along eastbound I-465 to safely shift traffic and open the new ramp.
Drivers can expect the following closures from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
Thursday, May 28
- Northbound Binford Boulevard reduced to one lane between 71st Street and 75th Street
- No access to northbound I-69 from northbound Binford Boulevard at 75th Street
Friday, May 29
- Ramp from eastbound I-465 to northbound I-69 closed. Signed Detour: Eastbound I-465 to southbound I-465 and turn around at Pendleton Pike (U.S. 36).
- Ramp from eastbound I-465 to southbound Binford Boulevard closed
- Ramp from eastbound I-465 to Allisonville Road closed
- Ramps from Keystone Avenue to eastbound I-465 closed
- Eastbound I-465 reduced to two lanes from just west of the White River to Fall Creek Road
Drivers should plan ahead and seek alternate routes, when possible. Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur.
