Approximately 20 people showed up in Carmel last Saturday, May 16 in the rain to protest ongoing ICE detention at Miami Correctional Facility near Bunker Hill, Ind., about 11 miles north of Kokomo. The protestors also sought to connect local residents with programs to assist U.S. citizen children of current ICE detainees within Indiana.
