Ditlevson: thank you for standing with me

Editor’s note: Fishers City Councilwoman Tiffanie Ditlevson released the following statement Wednesday afternoon after her loss in the Indiana Senate District 31 Republican primary.

Yesterday’s outcome was not what we hoped for, but I woke up today with a grateful heart.

Thank you for believing in this campaign – for your time, your encouragement, your support, and your willingness to stand with me.

Because of you, we ran a campaign we can be proud of – thoughtful, disciplined, and grounded in the values of Senate District 31. We had real conversations with voters, focused on local priorities, and stayed true to who we are.

While this campaign comes to an end, my commitment to public service does not. I will proudly continue serving my constituents in Fishers and advocating for the issues that matter to our community.

I am especially grateful to the volunteers, supporters, and friends who gave so much of themselves to this effort. You showed up in ways that meant more than I can fully express.

Now is also the time to rally around our nominee as she prepares for the race against Sheriff Forestal. I wish her and her team all the best.

It has been an honor to earn your support and to run this race alongside you.
