The Carmel girls lacrosse team played a tough game at Bishop Chatard on Wednesday, with the Trojans winning 12-10. Ellie Espey (pictured) scored two goals and made two assists for the Greyhounds.
Liv Coellner, Julianna Mancini and Gia Ferrettie also each scored two goals, with Annabell Gripe and Lila Hammons both scoring one goal. Mallory Wingenroth and Ferrettie both handed out one assist. Goalkeeper Sophie Anthony made 11 saves.
The Greyhounds are 7-7 and have two more games on the schedule. Carmel hosts Cathedral at 7:30 p.m. tonight then finish the season by welcoming Detroit Country Day on Saturday evening.
