Hamilton Heights dropped a 19-7 game at North Montgomery on Friday.
The Huskies’ lone touchdown came in the second quarter, when Chris Franklin caught a five-yard pass from Carter Campassi. Michael Lecher made the extra point kick. That gave Heights a 7-0 lead, but the Chargers scored two touchdowns in the third quarter to take the lead.
DeShawn King led the Huskies’ rushing with 86 yards in 15 carries. Cordell Cowan gained 50 yards in 17 rushes. Campassi had an efficient passing night, completing six of 10 attempts for 78 yards.
Tad DeFoe and Isiah Campbell each made three catches.
Heights is now 0-2 for the season and returns to the Husky Dome this Friday to play West Lafayette. This game will have a 7:30 p.m. start.
