Boys lacrosse: Millers pick up two wins

The Noblesville boys lacrosse team picked up two wins to finish last week’s action.

On Thursday, April 9, the Millers won at Brebeuf Jesuit 13-7. Charlie Boe scored four goals, with Harrison Boe and Hayden McCaslin adding three goals each. William Kelsey scored two goals and Geoffrey Stapert getting one.

Both Charlie Boe and Harrison Boe dished out two assists. Kelsey, Stapert, McCaslin and Colten Yates all handed out one assist.

Noblesville welcomed Anthony Wayne from Whitecross, Ohio on Saturday, April 11 and won that contest 11-7.

Charlie Boe and McCaslin both had four goals, followed by two for Kelsey and one for Nikolas Zourdos. Stapert and Charlie Boe each provided two assists and Zourdos had one.

The Millers are 3-4 and host Bishop Chatard on Wednesday.

Guerin Catholic won a high-scoring battle with Evansville Memorial 18-12 on Saturday, April 11.

Gavin Soucie had a dominant game, putting in nine goals and also making two assists. Vincent Elliott had three goals and two assists, Mason Walosin scored two goals and dished out two assists, and J.B. Ford had two goals and one assist. Chris Giedd and Ethan Lehtinen both scored one goal.

The Golden Eagles are 5-4 and host Westfield on Wednesday.

Carmel stayed undefeated with a 23-3 win over Center Grove on Saturday, April 11.

Lincoln O’Leary and Luke Shrift both scored six goals, while Ike Stitle added three goals. Eli Chapa scored two goals. Six more Greyhounds players scored one goal: Max McCord, Nick Anderson, Reed Collins, Evan Bardwell, Cohen Odle and Aaron Fedorcha.

O’Leary and McCord both dished out three assists. Chapa and Shrift handed out two assists. Matthew Gray, Bardwell, Evan Coulter and Owen Huber all made one assist.

Carmel is 9-0 and hosts Zionsville on Wednesday.
