Joseph “Joey” Wade Edwards, 55, Westfield, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. He was born on October 15, 1962 to James Joseph and Jo Ann (King) Edwards in Noblesville.
Joey worked as a construction office/project manager at Dotlich Contractors Inc. He enjoyed fishing with his dad and family, Sunday dinners, Friday movie nights and road trips to Tennessee to visit his granddaughter. Joey was an active member of Westfield Friends Church where he served as a property trustee and the treasurer for many years. Joey was a gracious host and a fantastic cook. His friends and family can attest to the fact that his spaghetti bolognese was exceptional.
Joey is survived by his wife, Meg Edwards; parents, Joe and Jo Ann Edwards; daughter, Kayla (Seth) Cross; son, Aaron Heinzman; granddaughter, Millie Cross; sister, Jackie (Dale) Hiatt; his nephews, Ben (Anne), Ryan (Kellie), Michael (Katy) and Levi (Allison) Hiatt; and additional loving family members.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Westfield Friends Church, 324 S. Union St., Westfield. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the church, with Dr. Tony Wheeler and Associate Pastor Shane Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield.

Joey was a true servisnt of the Lord! He had a wonderful attitude and a great faith until the very end. He will be greatly missed. May his memory be eternal.
