Paul C. Sweeney, Republican candidate for Hamilton County Superior Court 9, has earned the endorsement of the Carmel Professional Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 4444. The endorsement was formally extended on March 6 by Sean Sutton, President of the Carmel Professional Fire Fighters Union.
In the endorsement letter, Sutton noted that the organization rated Sweeney “well qualified” to serve in the office he seeks, citing his leadership and commitment to public service.
“I am honored to receive the support of the Carmel Professional Fire Fighters,” Sweeney said. “These men and women put their lives on the line every day to protect our community. Their endorsement reflects a shared commitment to public safety and service, and I will carry that with me to the bench.”
Sweeney is a Hoosier by choice, having lived in Carmel for the past 40 years, with more than 35 years of volunteer service in our community, and 29 years of trial and litigation experience. A graduate of Carmel High School, Indiana University, and the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, magna cum laude, Sweeney has handled more than 60 bench and jury trials and arbitrations nationwide.
