March 21, 1958 – March 12, 2026

The family of Eric Paul Jones of Noblesville is saddened to announce his passing on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the age of 67. He loved God and now rests peacefully in the arms of our Lord. He was born on March 21, 1958, to Earl and Wilma (Jackson) Jones in Indianapolis.
Eric will be remembered by his wife of 33 years, Linda Jones; daughter, Aundrea (Jon) Boyle; son, Austin Jones; grandson, Lennon Boyle; brother, Jerry (Danielle) Jones; brother-in-law, Doug Holderfield; sister-in-law, Rosemarie Adams; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; and his beloved dog, Bella.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four sisters, Connie, Marsha, Nelda, and Cheryl.
Eric graduated from Arsenal Tech High School, class of 1977. PFC Jones honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1981 to 1984 and was stationed overseas in Germany and at Ft. Harrison. He received a distinguished rifleman badge, Army service ribbon, overseas service ribbon, and driver badge.
After his marriage to Linda, they settled in Noblesville and raised their family. Eric was a CNC machinist, reading blueprints and using micrometers to create parts. Eric was always an hour or two early to work because he was afraid to be late and wanted front-row parking.
Eric loved God, reading the Bible, and watching movies. He loved his family and they loved him just as deeply. Eric’s parents were born in Tompkinsville, Ky.
The Indianapolis Colts were his favorite football team, regardless of the score. Eric shared his love of sports with his son, and the family loved attending Austin’s school sports. Eric made everyone laugh with his antics.
A celebration of life will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Burial with military honors will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery, 4180 Westfield Road, Westfield.
