The Westfield boys basketball team finished its Hoosier Crossroads Conference campaign Friday, Feb. 20 with a 67-59 win over Franklin Central at CSI Gymnasium.
The Shamrocks jumped out to a 19-11 lead after the first quarter. Drew Haffner and Luke Vandegriff both scored seven points. Westfield led 36-29 at halftime, with Brock Detamore pouring in 10 second-quarter points.
The Rocks increased their lead to 45-35 by the end of the third period and stayed in front during a high-scoring fourth quarter by adding 24 points, including six from Bryce Bigsbee.
Haffner and Detamore both finished with 18 points, with Detamore draining three 3-pointers. Vandegriff totaled 11 points, while Bigsbee scored 10 points.
