October 20, 1980 – February 19, 2026
Dr. Mathew Joseph Rose, 45, Noblesville, passed away on February 19, 2026.
Born on October 20, 1980, in North Canton, Ohio, to Marilyn (Boyle) and Edward Rose, Mathew was a proud graduate of Hoover High School and Miami University. He was the Class President at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, later served as Chief Resident in the Emergency Department at Akron General Medical Center, and was awarded Resident of the Year. A steady and attentive physician, he cared for patients and peers at Carolina East Medical Center, Indiana University Health, and Anthem. He was deeply respected by his colleagues but truly believed it was his honor to serve alongside such dedicated teams.
Grounded in his trust in Jesus, Mathew lived with a servant’s heart – offering his time, strengths, and attention wherever there was need. He listened, asked about others, and quietly stepped in to help. His life was marked not by recognition, but by devotion.
Above all, he cherished his family. He was the beloved husband of Michelle (Fogelsong) Rose, loving her with intention and gratitude. He honored their 20 years of marriage deeply, and loved the life they built full of laughter, shared purpose, and steadfast partnership.
Mathew was an engaged and joyful father to Benjamin, Hudson, Clark, and Elizabeth. Nothing brought him greater happiness than being with them or hearing about their day. He coached sports, led Scouts, worked side-by-side on projects, danced on stages, attended field trips, and never missed a chance for a well-timed dad joke. He was always fully present-offering guidance, encouragement, and his whole heart each day.
He is survived by his parents; by his sisters, Karol Bibighaus (Rich), Katy Neff (Rob), and Shari Milnes (George), and their children; by his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Fogelsong; and by his brother-in-law, Todd Fogelsong (Kelly), and their children, Tyler and Haley.
Services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. The service will begin promptly at 11 a.m. Guests are invited to remain after the service to share time with the family. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Road, Westfield.
In lieu of flowers and in response to the kindness and generosity so many have expressed, contributions may be made to the children’s college 529 savings plan at go.fidelity.com/92pcyz or by clicking the QR code; or to the charity of your choice.
