The Westfield Youth Assistance Program (WYAP) needs your help sending local youth to camp this summer.

WYAP works to connect as many youth as possible with summer camp opportunities, knowing that summer camp can be an empowering and life-changing experience for youth. Many of the youth connected with camps need help obtaining necessary camp supplies. These supplies range from smaller items like sunscreen and bug spray to larger items like sleeping bags and duffels.

From one WYAP youth: “I want to thank you for the opportunity to go to summer camp. I hope that many children can be part of this adventure. This was my first time ever going to camp, and I love it! I really hope it will be possible that I can go again! I made a whole lot of friends.”

In 2025, WYAP connected youth with 320 unique camp and enrichment opportunities. These connections are all made possible thanks to the generosity of donors, sponsors, and partner agencies.

The deadline for camp supplies is Tuesday, March 10 in order to ensure the items arrive with plenty of time before Westfield youth attend camp. To support WYAP by purchasing camp supplies, please visit the Amazon Wishlist.
