Westfield’s boys scored a big victory on Friday, Feb. 13, taking care of Harrison 67-26 at CSI Gymnasium.
The Raiders led 15-13 after the first quarter, but the Shamrocks dominated the game after that. Westfield outscored Harrison 19-8 in the second period for a 32-23 lead. Drew Haffner hit four 3-pointers in the second half on his way to 14 points, while Graham Wilson nailed a pair of triples in the second quarter.
The Rocks shut out the Raiders in the third quarter, pouring in 23 points to lead 55-23. Haffner threw in two more 3s and added 10 points in the third. Westfield closed out the fourth quarter by outscoring Harrison 12-3.
Haffner hit one more triple in the fourth, giving him seven for the game. He finished with 27 points. Luke Vandegriff scored 10 points, while Brock Detamore added nine points, including two 3s.
Westfield is 12-7 and hosts University tonight in an all-county game.
