Hamilton Heights Middle School will serve as the host site for the first-ever Champions Together Unified Sports Cornhole State Tournament this Saturday, Jan. 31 in the Main Gym.

This inaugural event brings together 16 schools of unified athletes from across Indiana for a day of competition, teamwork, and celebration.

Unified Sports, a partnership between the IHSAA and Special Olympics Indiana, is built on the belief that students of all abilities deserve opportunities to compete, connect, and shine. Hosting this statewide tournament reflects Hamilton Heights’ ongoing commitment to inclusion and to creating meaningful experiences where every athlete feels valued and supported.

“We look forward to welcoming teams from around the state to our campus and showcasing the spirit of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and Husky hospitality that defines our school community,” said Whitney Gray, Hamilton Heights High School Principal and Unified Sports Coach, who is spearheading this event. “Unified sports changes lives, mine included. It’s an honor to help launch this new chapter of Unified Sports in Indiana.”
