The City of Fishers and Celebrity Chef Kelsey Murphy have launched Clutch Kitchen at Sun King Fishers.

Murphy, winner of season 11 of MasterChef and longtime Fishers resident, brings a reimagined menu and special experience to former Fishers Test Kitchen location.

Murphy first launched Clutch Kitchen – a rebrand of her previous Inspo concept – at Lucas Oil Stadium this fall, serving elevated stadium food like bacon jam-loaded tots, chicken wings, and the popular Cuban sandwich. Her Fishers menu has built upon favorites while offering items unique to Fishers, such as pizzas, salads, and grain bowls.

Clutch Kitchen replaced the Fishers Test Kitchen space within Sun King Fishers. The Fishers Test Kitchen opened in 2020 to serve as a restaurant accelerator for new food concepts, like Murphy’s Inspo, which launched out of the Test Kitchen in 2022 before heading to Lucas Oil Stadium.

“We are intentional about bringing dynamic and unique culinary options to Fishers, and this marks a new chapter for this space in the heart of our bustling entertainment district,” Mayor Scott Fadness said. “With social destinations like Sun King, the Fishers Event Center, and everything Fishers District has to offer, demand for nearby casual, but elevated, dining keeps increasing and concepts like Clutch Kitchen can really cater to this. I’m so excited for the opportunity to showcase local talent like Chef Murphy as we continue to take dining in Fishers to the next level.”

“The Clutch Kitchen team and I are beyond excited to have found our home in Fishers,” Chef Murphy said. “We are dedicated to making Clutch Kitchen a destination for families, social gatherings, sporting events, and all your carry-out needs. When this opportunity presented itself, I knew immediately that this was the right choice. As my career grows on a national level, it has become even more important for me to keep roots in Indiana, and specifically, Fishers. This city has been the birthplace of my career and my family, and the people of Indiana and Fishers have been my greatest supporters through it all. They deserve to grow with me and be a part of this journey alongside my family and I.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Kelsey to the former Fishers Test Kitchen location,” said April Fetz, Director of Marketing and Communications at Sun King. “We know she will craft the best cuisine to match our beverage options and enable Sun King to offer more robust catering options for private events.”

Clutch Kitchen is now open with limited menu, including dine-in and carryout. A grand opening with a full lunch and dinner menu is anticipated for early spring.
