On Tuesday, Dec. 30, the Hamilton Southeastern Board of School Trustees approved the 2025-26 teacher contract by a vote of 7-0, completing the collective bargaining process for the upcoming school year.

This year’s negotiations occurred amid declining enrollment, rising health insurance costs, higher employer costs related to the state teacher retirement system, and the impact of SEA 1 legislation.
