John Keith Myers, 77, Sheridan, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on October 18, 1948, to William Leondas and Ruth Helen (Bragg) Myers in Winchester, Ind.
John proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a pastor in the Friends Church for most of his life. John served at Josiah Whites for 15 years, the Friends United Meeting, Quaker Haven Camp, Hinkle Creek Friends Church, and Georgetown Friends Church in Illinois. John enjoyed woodworking and fishing. Most of all, he loved his grandkids.
John is survived by his wife, Judy Myers; daughter, Jennifer (Daniel) Ritzema; grandson, Preston (Hannah) Ritzema; granddaughter, Paige Ritzema; stepson, Rodney “Cordy” Dennis; stepdaughter, Rosalie “Susie” Baker; and his sister, Jane Snell.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his first wife of 42 years, C. Jean Myers; his sister, Beth Jones; and his brother, Bill Myers.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, with services at noon, on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Burial will immediately follow at Friends Cemetery in Wabash, Ind.
