Gregory Allen Newby II, 50, Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Community Hospital in Anderson. He was born on July 22, 1975, to Gregory and Theresa (McGuire) Newby in Noblesville.
Greg graduated from Harrison College with a degree in criminal justice. He worked in dispatch at Hoosier Park Racing and Casino for the last 10 years. Greg was a lover of sports, especially Purdue, the Red Sox, and the New Orleans Saints. He enjoyed watching wrestling and horror movies. Greg had a passion for being a loving foster parent for kids in need. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Becky Newby; daughter, Megan Newby; brother, Bryan (Angela) Newby; Godson; Ma’siah Robertson; mother-in-law, Kathy Delp; sister-in-law, Angel Delp; extended family members, Robert Castetter and Edra Robertson; lifelong brothers, Eddie Rodeman, James (Holly) Kerr, and Kelly Jones; and many close cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Wilbert “Vern” and Alice (Finch) Newby; and uncle, Rodney Newby.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville, with Pastor Kojak Fuller officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the time of the service at the funeral home.
