Cicero gives first responders a huge “Thank you!”

Dan Strong, Jerry Cook, and family members were happy to pose for The Reporter in front of the sign at Red Bridge Community Center thanking local first responders. If you missed out on the fine food and good community fellowship Sunday afternoon, just make a donation. It will make you feel better. (Reporter photo)

Cicero Friends of the Park invited everyone to thank the town’s first responders during an annual celebration on Sunday, Sept. 14 at the Red Bridge Park Community Building. If you weren’t able to attend but want to support the Cicero Fire and Police departments, donations can be sent to Cicero Friends of the Park, P.O. Box 754, Cicero, IN 46034.

Even at the very beginning of the afternoon event, several people were outside watching The Mulligans perform on the dock. We don’t know who this couple is, but this shot goes to the heart of Northern Hamilton County culture.
