Actors Theatre of Indiana begins 21st season with “Beehive: The 60’s Musical”

Actors Theatre of Indiana (ATI) will return for its 21st season with four amazing and entertaining shows, the first of these being Beehive: The 60’s Musical.

The show will open Friday, Sept. 5 and runs through Sept. 21 inside the intimate Studio Theater on the campus of the Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts. You will feel up close and personal with the great cast that is coming together for this show, and there isn’t a bad seat in the house.

Beehive: The 1960’s Musical is a celebration of the powerful female voices of the 1960s. This musical review will transport audiences with timeless hits such as “My Boyfriend’s Back,” “Son of a Preacher Man,” and “You Don’t Own Me.” The story is told through the lens of six women as they sing their way through 40 of the most iconic songs of this impactful decade. Featuring the music of Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, and Janis Joplin, this toe-tapping, non-stop musical will have audiences dancing in their seats.

Also coming to the stage for the 2025-2026 season will be Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein in October, Lucky Stiff in January 2026, and Sunset Boulevard, wrapping up the season in April.

To get your tickets to any of these shows, contact the Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts box office at (317) 843-3800.
