Last Friday night marked the finale of the 2025 Cool Creek Summer Concert Series, featuring Echoes of Pompeii, a celebrated Pink Floyd tribute band. (Editor’s note: We applaud the creatively esoteric name of the group. Serious Floyd fans will be able to piece those deep cuts together.) Fans were treated to a skilled performance with music that has defined generations of rock fans.

From the first note, Echoes of Pompeii delivered a performance that was both technically impressive and emotionally moving. The band skillfully recreated Pink Floyd’s signature sound – layered guitar solos, rich harmonies, and atmospheric keys – while a spectacular light show and projected imagery added a captivating visual element to the experience.

The setlist featured a mix of Pink Floyd’s most iconic tracks, from the psychedelic energy of “Run Like Hell” and “Another Brick in the Wall” to the haunting beauty of “Wish You Were Here” and “Comfortably Numb.” Each song drew cheers and sing-alongs from the crowd, proving the enduring appeal of Pink Floyd’s music across generations.

It was an evening where the music, the setting, and the shared experience came together perfectly – sending the 2025 season out on a strong and memorable note.
