Carmel golfer Luke Moore put on a show during Monday’s Prep tour stop at Crestview Golf Course in Muncie.
The incoming seventh-grader dominated the Boys 11-12 division with an eight under par 63. Moore eagled hole No. 2 in addition to making seven birdies in his round.
Carmel’s Austin Carter and Fishers’ Carsen Fegan also went under par, scoring a one under 70 to tie for second place. Both golfers made five birdies. Another Carmel golfer, Vidyut Anand, placed fourth with an even par 71; he eagled hole No. 8 and made three birdies.
Also on the Prep tour, McCordsville’s Nellie Lemmon won Girls 11-12 (77), Carmel’s Gia Cipriani won Girls 9-10 (52) and McCordsville’s Winnie Lemmon won Girls 7-8 (50).
On the Junior Tour, Fishers’ Gavin Davis was the Boys 13-15 champion with an even par 71, draining five birdies along the way. Westfield’s Jude Kaufman scored 74 to win Boys 16-19 in a playoff; he made four birdies.
