Thanks to volunteers, going back to class is a real blast this year

Grace Care Center, 5504 E. 146th St., Noblesville, is celebrating a successful Back to School Blast.

Thanks to the generosity of donors and volunteers, the 2025 Back to School Blast provided 1,500 local students with brand-new backpacks and essential school supplies, just in time for the new school year.

Last Saturday’s Care Center Community Fair was a celebration of community care, reaching far beyond backpacks. This year’s fair welcomed 2,830 people and was made possible by 315 volunteers who gave their time and energy to serve families.

2025 Community Fair Highlights

  • 1,500 backpacks & 1,500 pairs of shoes distributed
  • 87 haircuts given
  • 150 cars serviced
  • 160 pantry visits
  • 26 bikes repaired

  • More than 10,000 game prizes awarded
  • 1,000 lemonades, 1,536 hotdogs, and 1,000 iced coffees served

This year’s event is an example of what can happen when a community comes together. Whether giving $5 or volunteering for the day, every act of generosity played a role in creating a memorable and meaningful experience for families.

While no further donations are needed for the 2025 Back to School Blast, the celebration of community continues. Grace Care Center remains committed to walking alongside families throughout the year, showing love in practical and personal ways.
